From the first ring to the car on your truck.
A seller in your area calls you or asks for an offer online. You make the offer. We text, follow up and remind, and you pick up the car. Here's every step.
- Before your first lead
We set up your area and your number.
After you apply, our team calls you and sets you up:
- Your area: the ZIP codes around your yard where you buy. One buyer per area, so a seller there comes to you and nobody else.
- Your local Clunqr number: seller calls ring through it to your phone, and the calls and texts you make from the app show it.
- Your lead hours: the days and times you want leads.
- Your prices, if you want instant offers: or leave them blank and price every car yourself.
- When a seller calls
The call rings your phone.
You hear "Clunqr lead" before the seller is put through, so you know it's one of ours and not a parts call. Make your offer on the call. The app asks you the question that moves a junk car's price most, whether the catalytic converter is still on it, so you can note the answer while you talk.
When you hang up, we text you to ask how it went. Answer with one line and we log it for you:
Text from ClunqrYour 2:14 PM customer call ended. How did it go? Reply 1 and your offer if they're thinking it over (like 1 350), 2 and the price if they said yes (2 350), or 3 if there's no deal.2 350Logged: they said yes to $350 on your 2:14 PM call. We texted them to confirm. Book the pickup here: app.clunqr.com/…- 1 350 They're thinking it over. We text them your $350 offer and start following up.
- 2 350 They said yes at $350. We text them the deal in writing so it's on their phone.
- 3 No deal. The lead is closed out.

Missed it? It waits at the top of Call back. - If you miss the call
We text the seller right away.
A seller who reaches nobody usually calls the next buyer. So the moment a call goes unanswered, we text them that you'll call them back, and the call goes to the top of your Call back list on the app's Home screen with one button to ring them.
A missed call is still a lead, so the fastest call back wins.
- When a seller asks online
You get the whole car, and a text that it's here.
An online request arrives with the year, make, model, mileage, title, whether it starts and drives, keys, wheels, the catalytic converter, any damage, and photos when the seller adds them. You get a text and a phone alert the moment it comes in.
If you've set your prices, the seller sees your offer the moment they finish the form. If not, the lead lands on your Price these list and you send the offer yourself, or call them first.

- When you make an offer
The seller gets it by text, with a page to say yes.
Every offer goes to the seller with their own offer page. From there they accept, pick a pickup time and send a photo of the title. If they don't answer, we text them for up to 10 days to bring them back to your offer.
When a seller texts back, the reply lands in your Chats and we pause the automatic follow-ups for a day, so they never talk over your conversation. You can pause them longer from the lead.

Their reply, on your phone
Your offer, on theirs - If they need time
Waiting on a title? We nudge them for you.
Sellers often say yes and then have to find the title, clear out the car or check with a spouse. Mark what you're waiting on and we nudge them on days 2, 5, 9 and 14. When they upload the title or you book the pickup, the nudges stop. If they go quiet, we tell you it's time to call.
- Pickup
Book it, send the driver, done.
Book the pickup in the app and the seller gets a text with the time. Move it and they hear about that too. Pick a driver and they get the job by text, with a page that has the address, the car and the price. No account and no app for your drivers.
When your driver taps "On my way", we text the seller. Then mark the car picked up.

- Your balance
Leads come out of a pack you buy.
Each new seller uses one lead from your balance. The same seller within 15 days is one lead, not two. We text you when you have 3 left, or auto-refill tops you up. A bad lead can be disputed from the lead page, and an approved dispute puts it back on your balance.
Can't take leads today? Pause them with one tap and they start again tomorrow.
Is your area still open?
One buyer per area. Download the app and tap Apply to be a buyer, and we'll call you about yours.
