What does each junk car really cost you?

A $15 lead you never close costs more than a $30 lead you do. Put in your own numbers and see your cost per car.

Buyers who log their offers and work their Clunqr leads close 37% on average.
An example. Put in your own average: what the car brings in, less what you paid the seller, the tow and your time.

Cost per car = lead price ÷ close rate. Profit numbers use your own per-car figure, so they're only as good as that number.

How to read it

Cost per car is the number that matters. Lead sellers like to compete on price per lead, but you don't make money on leads. You make it on cars. A lead you close at 40% for $30 costs you $75 a car. A lead you close at 10% for $15 costs you $150 a car.

Your close rate is the number you control. It moves with how fast you answer, how fair your first offer is and whether you follow up. Move the close rate slider and watch what it does to cost per car. That's why every Clunqr lead comes with missed-call texts and follow-ups: they move the slider.

The break-even close rate is the lowest close rate where leads still pay for themselves. Below it, every lead you buy loses money. Above it, every extra car you close is profit.
